Standard Pet Pee Pads
Standard-size pet pee pads are built on a fixed five-layer construction and stocked in S, M, L and XL. Because the build is fixed, this is the fastest line to quote and the easiest to hold in stock: sizes, pack counts and outer-carton configuration are the only real variables, and we can supply them in bulk cartons, retail packs or full private label. Absorbency, backing weight and SAP loading are set per size to give a consistent performance curve across the range, so a retailer selling S through XL is not effectively pricing four unrelated products. Printing and pack counts are open to your artwork. Pads ship compressed, which makes them comparatively cheap to move by sea against bulky litter, so the container arithmetic usually works in your favour. We quote per container so you can check it yourself.
A standard pad is a five-layer build: a soft top sheet, an acquisition layer, a SAP core, a tissue wrap and a liquid-tight backing film. Holding that construction fixed is what makes this the fastest line to quote and the easiest to keep in stock, because nothing about the absorbency profile changes between orders - sizes, pack counts and the outer carton are the only real variables. Absorbency, backing weight and SAP loading are set per size rather than copied across the range, so the performance curve stays consistent from S to XL. A retailer selling four sizes is then pricing one product family, not four unrelated items.
Pads ship compressed, which is the commercial point worth understanding. Against bulky litter, a container of pads carries far more sellable units for the same sea freight, so the landed cost per unit usually works in your favour and the freight line on the quote is not what decides the deal. We quote per container rather than per pad so you can check that arithmetic yourself against your current supplier instead of taking our word for the comparison. Bulk cartons are the cheapest entry point; retail packs and printed bags add a film and print setup step.
This is the line for buyers who need to be on shelf quickly: distributors restocking a standard range, retailers launching a category, and private-label programmes that want their own brand on a proven construction. It is not the line for a non-standard tray size, a heavier overnight core or a travel-format pad - those belong on the custom side, where we are converting to your brief rather than shipping a fixed build.
