Custom & Mixed Cat Litter
Custom and mixed lines are how most of our long-term programmes start. This line covers two shapes of work: fixed blends, where an existing ratio such as one part tofu to one part cassava is run under your brand, and open briefs, where you bring a target for clump strength, dust ceiling, scent, granule size, absorption or price, and we formulate and sample against it. Because we already run the plant and mineral lines on our own tooling, a bespoke blend is usually a formulation change rather than a new production line, which keeps the sampling loop short. Custom work is handled under NDA, and formulations are never shared between buyers. Tell us the market, the expected first-year volume and the certificates the destination requires, and we will come back with a specification and a sample plan.

The second is an open brief: you bring targets for clump strength, dust ceiling, scent, granule size, absorption or landed price, and we formulate against them. Most programmes start on the second and settle into the first once the specification is locked.
We can work this way because the plant and mineral lines already run on our own tooling. A bespoke blend is usually a formulation and a die setting rather than a new production line, which is what keeps the sampling loop short - weeks rather than seasons. Formulations are held under NDA and never shared between buyers, including the ratio itself.
To quote a custom line we need four things: the destination market, the expected first-year volume, the certificates that market requires, and the target you want to beat - an existing product, a competitor spec sheet, or a price point. From there we come back with a proposed specification and a sample plan. If the first sample misses, we iterate against your written feedback instead of restarting the brief.
