Cat Litter line
Pine Cat Litter
Pine cat litter is a wood-based litter, supplied in the pellet and granule formats European buyers most often stock. Wood litter behaves differently from a clumping mineral litter: it absorbs and then breaks down with use, so it suits buyers positioning on natural materials rather than on scoop-and-clump performance. The line ships in the heavier bulk configurations that wood litter economics require, and we quote freight per container rather than per bag so you can compare landed cost directly against your current supply. Bag design, print and pack weight are open to your specification, including private label. One point worth flagging early: wood litter is not a flushing product, and packaging copy should say so under local consumer-protection rules. We raise that during the artwork review rather than leaving it for you to catch later.
Pine litter does not behave like a clumping mineral, and the copy on your pack has to reflect that or you will get returns. A wood pellet absorbs liquid and then breaks down with use, so the tray is maintained by removing the soiled material and topping up rather than by scooping one solid clump. That is a different routine, and it suits a different customer: households already buying on natural materials, and buyers whose range is positioned on wood or plant content rather than on scoop-and-clump performance. If your shelf story is clump strength above all else, the cassava and tofu lines are the honest answer, and we will say so before you commit artwork.
The line runs in two physical formats, pellet and granule, and the choice is about cat acceptance as much as cost. A pellet is the familiar format in most European wood-litter listings; a granule or crumble reads as softer underfoot and is often used to move a customer over from clay. Both come off the same processing, so quoting one against the other is a matter of telling us which format your shelf already carries. Pine is a by-product stream from timber processing rather than a purpose-grown crop, which is a story worth telling on pack if your market responds to it - and one we can document if a listing team asks.
Wood litter is dense in bulk and sold by volume, so it does not travel like a compressed pad or a light plant pellet. We quote freight per container rather than per bag so you can compare landed cost directly against your current supply instead of guessing from an FOB figure. Bag weights, pack counts and print are open to your specification, and the line is available as private label. Expect the bulk configurations to be heavier per pallet than the plant lines; that is a property of the material, not a packaging choice.
