Mixed-Container Loading: Planning a Cat Litter and Pee Pad Shipment

A mixed container is the normal way to start with Green Paws. Cat litter and pet pee pads share one 20GP, so a new retailer can test both categories in a single shipment with one documentation set and one customs entry, instead of booking two containers and two freight quotes.

The loading plan is built per assortment, not from a catalogue average. We take your product lines, your pack sizes and your volumes, and we return the pallet count, the loaded volume and the bag or piece count per container. A small change in pack size moves the carton count by a few per cent, and that compounds across a year of shipments, so the figure is worth confirming against the exact pack you will order.

Pallets are standard export size, 1.2 by 1.0 metres, stacked to a safe height and shrink-wrapped, with lot control so every batch traces to its test report. Bulk bags, retail cartons and compressed pad cartons load to the same plan, and we plan each container to cut empty runs and to keep the carton count stable across repeat orders.

We ship on FOB Qingdao or CIF to your port, matched to your freight forwarder. Tell us the destination port and the assortment and we quote against the real numbers - the loading data first, then the ex-works price - because for a mixed shipment the landed cost is driven by the load factor more than by the unit price. A sample kit and the loading plan are the two things to ask for before you commit to a first container.
